How to Rob a Bank hits theaters Sept. 4 and features a star-studded cast including John C. Reilly and Christian Slater

Zoë Kravitz plays a woman tasked with hunting down a group of bank robbers led by Nicholas Hoult and Pete Davidson in her new movie.

On Tuesday, June 2, Amazon MGM Studios released a trailer for How to Rob a Bank, which sees Hoult, 36, and Davidson, 32, lead a crew of bank robbers who livestream their exploits to the internet. Kravitz, 37, portrays a skilled hacker under house arrest whom John C. Reilly's FBI agent recruits to help identify and catch the bank robbers.

"A crew of social media-savvy bank robbers broadcasts their daring heists, unaware that their growing viral fame has put them in the crosshairs of a veteran FBI agent and a brilliant software engineer," an official synopsis for the movie reads. "Despite the unlikely duo closing in, the crime ring pushes past their limits, putting everything on the line for their beliefs — and their most ambitious heist yet."

How to Rob a Bank is directed by David Leitch, whom action fans recognize from his work on movies like Bullet Train, The Fall Guy, Atomic Blonde and Deadpool 2. The movie is written by Mark Bianculli, who also wrote the upcoming reboot of Cliffhanger starring Lily James and Pierce Brosnan.

Tati Gabrielle, Anna Sawai, Rhenzy Feliz and Christian Slater also costar in the movie.

How to Rob a Bank is the first movie Kravitz has starred in this year; she most recently appeared on the big screen opposite Austin Butler in last year's Caught Stealing, as well as in three episodes of Seth Rogen's Apple TV comedy The Studio.

Hoult, meanwhile, has been appearing as Lex Luthor in the DC cinematic universe; he costarred in last year's Superman and will reprise the role in next year's sequel Man of Tomorrow. Davidson most recently appeared in Netflix's film Remarkably Bright Creatures.

How to Rob a Bank is in theaters Sept. 4.
