Teddi Mellencamp is sharing a health update amid her battle with stage 4 melanoma.
The RHOBH alum documented her "raging anxiety" as she waited for the results of her latest cancer scan.
Mellencamp's doctor informed her she is in "remission" after having a "complete response to therapy."
Teddi Mellencamp just got a hopeful health update about ongoing treatments to address her stage 4 cancer.
In a June 2 Instagram post, theReal Housewives of Beverly Hillsalum not only shared the promising update, but documented the hours leading up to her latest doctor's visit.
"So ever since I was diagnosed with stage four cancer, I get immunotherapy monthly," Mellencamp explained from her bed at the start of the video. "And I was getting CAT scans and MRIs monthly, but this past time, they decided they're going to wait three to four months in between the test. This has created such a nervous, raging anxiety inside of me."
In another clip, Mellencamp got emotional, sharing that waiting for the results has made her feel "lonely" and "exhausted." But after a few more clips of her getting ready to go in for the appointment, Mellencamp jumped straight to the footage of her doctor delivering a positive update.

"The scan shows no evidence of tumor in your body," a doctor tells Mellencamp. "When you came, you had tumors in your brain and in your lungs. We don't see those now. There's evidence you had treatment and that the immunotherapy has helped you."
The doctor went on to say that Mellencamp is considered in "remission" after having a "complete response to therapy," with "the best outcome we could hope for." He added, "The longer that you remain in this state, the better it is for you."
The daughter of John Cougar Mellencamp referenced her remission news in the caption, telling followers, "The past 12 hours have been a whirlwind of emotions, but there's one word I have never been happier to hear."
She continued, "Thank you for the outpouring of love and support. Sometimes it's tough to share. But I do so in hoping it helps others. Now book those skin checks and give yourself grace when you are emotional, depressed, or sad."

Mellencamp, who plans to continue immunotherapy for another year, added that, while she still expects to "have rough days and weeks" while undergoing the treatment, "I am hoping that I can look at immunotherapy as my friend who saved my life. Not my enemy who makes me feel weak, sad, and sick."
The mother of three was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, in 2022. She underwent radiation treatments and 17 surgeries over the next two years as it was upgraded to stage 4. Mellencamp announced that the cancer had metastasized in March 2025. "I have three more tumors in my brain and two tumors on my lungs," she wrote in an Instagram caption at the time. "These are all a direct result of my melanoma."

Mellencamp announced last year that she underwent immunotherapy and scans that found "no detectable cancer." While she was overjoyed about those results, she made sure to clarify, "I'm not considered in remission or anything like that."
She explained, "The way the [doctors] said it works, it's like one year, then two years, then at three years you're allowed to be considered… in remission."

Months prior, in April 2025, Mellencamp shared that after beginning immunotherapy, she was given 50/50 odds of beating cancer from her doctor.
"I learned this isn't the best question to ask if you're doing immunotherapy, because immunotherapy has only been around 10 years," Mellencamp said during a candid interview with Nightline. "It's one of my favorite things to ask is 'How long I got? What are my chances?' And they oftentimes say 50/50. 50/50? I wouldn't buy a car that's only gonna drive 50 percent of the time. I don't want this."
She continued, "And [the doctor's] like, 'No, it's only because that's how long immunotherapy has been around so that's how long the study has worked.' So that's when I then try to find the positive."
