Taco Bell’s Quesarito is returning on Thursday, Dec. 18.
The discontinued menu item combining a burrito with a quesadilla is finally returning, the chain announced on Dec. 17.
The Quesarito was first introduced in 2014 before becoming just an online and in-app exclusive in 2020 and being fully discontinued in 2023, according to Taco Bell Wiki. It takes a burrito — filled with ground beef, rice, chipotle sauce and sour cream — and wraps it in a cheese quesadilla.
There is a deal in honor of the item’s return. 30,000 reward members can get the Quesarito for $1 in-app during the Tuesday Drop on Dec. 23. Otherwise, the returning item will cost $4.99.
The hybrid item comes with some internet lore.
Back in 2014, Nikola Jokić‘s NBA draft was interrupted by a Taco Bell commercial about the Quesarito. 11 years later, the Denver Nuggets player, also known as “Joker,” is getting in on the food’s comeback campaign.

Taco Bell is “issuing a call for Nikola Jokić to finally try the Quesarito that unintentionally stole his spotlight,” a press release declared. There are billboards specific to the joke that will be running in tandem with the limited-time menu item’s release. But when asked if he would try it, Jokić said, "No. It's nice they're finally apologizing. But no,” per the release.
Taco Bell’s Cheesy Dipping Burritos (once a viral Reddit menu hack) and Steak Garlic Nacho Fries will also be back on Dec. 18.
The Cheesy Dipping Burritos are served as a pair with options for steak or slow-roasted chicken. Fans can choose between three dipping sauces: Creamy Garlic Sauce, Creamy Chipotle Sauce or the classic nacho cheese sauce.
The Steak Garlic Nacho Fries are topped with steak, pico de gallo, shredded cheddar, nacho cheese sauce and Creamy Garlic Sauce.
