- Rosie O’Donnell closed out her four-night guest-hosting gig on *Jimmy Kimmel Live* with a musical number dedicated to Donald Trump.
- O’Donnell invoked Trump calling her “nasty” in the past at the top of the episode, and later called him “orange Voldemort.”
- “Since we all know you’ll never be Obama, why not resign and make this country great again?” O’Donnell sang.
Rosie O’Donnell brought an Irish song (and a few verbal slams) dedicated to her longtime foe Donald Trump on her final night guest-hosting *Jimmy Kimmel Live**.*
O’Donnell kicked off Thursday’s show — the final installment of her four-night return to the talk show format — by introducing herself as “nasty Rosie O’Donnell,” wasting no time referencing a title Trump has given her (and many other women) in the past.
She went on to make another joke about Trump reportedly watching her temporarily take over for Kimmel on the air, telling the audience that the president has “spent more nights with me this week than Melania,” before calling him “orange Voldemort” in her passionate defense of the “right to free speech in this country.”
The 64-year-old closed out her final monologue with a dedication to Trump, as she sang a “traditional Irish song dedicated to a very special boy” to the tune of “Danny Boy.”
“Oh Donny boy, it’s Rosie, Rosie calling. From Hollywood, the Jimmy Kimmel show. Drop that Big Mac that we all know you’re holding, because, my dear, I worry for you so,” O’Donnell began, as the audience laughed.
She continued, “Poor Donny boy, your polls, your polls are falling. Your reflecting pool is green as Mountain Dew. Your wig’s a mess, your ballroom is appalling, and with Iran you bit off more than you can chew.”

She also got a few digs in at Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as she sang, “Measles are back, inflation is a’swelling,” before setting her sights back on Trump: “You post all night, you’re sleeping while you work. And what’s with all this useless crap you’re selling? Hey, sweetie pie, you’re driving us all berserk.”
O’Donnell closed the song by urging Trump to leave office, and interpolated his political movement’s “make America great again” slogan for her own tune.
“But there’s a way to end this drama. It’s time to use that stable genius brain,” she sang. “Since we all know you’ll never be Obama, why not resign and make this country great again? Yes, we all know you’ll never be Obama. Come on, resign and make this country great again!”

Trump and O’Donnell have long sparred in public, dating as far back as the comedian and actress’ time as moderator on *The View *from 2006-2007 and again from 2014-2015, with the president even speaking out against O’Donnell during his initial run for office in 2016.

O’Donnell’s stint on *Jimmy Kimmel Live *came amid rumors that she’s eyeing a permanent TV comeback after moving to Ireland to avoid Trump’s second term in office in America. While the former *Rosie O’Donnell Show* host publicly denied speculation that she’s mounting a secret takeover of Kimmel’s show, she detailed in a recent episode of the *Tangle* podcast* *that her team is currently charting potential paths for another full-time television gig for her.
“It would look a lot like my old show, to tell you the truth. I think America wants nostalgia. I think what they don’t want is celebrity culture. I think celebrity culture is dead in America,” she said in July on the podcast.
