Minka Kelly and Dan Reynolds Make First Red Carpet Appearance Together Since Being Linked in 2022

The couple made their red-carpet debut at the 2026 MOCA Gala in Los Angeles after first being spotted together in November 2022

They initially connected over the phone while Kelly was in the U.K. and bonded through their personal projects, Reynolds told PEOPLE in 2024

He credited therapy for their healthy relationship and Kelly praised his parenting and loving nature

The Ransom Canyon actress, 45, and the Imagine Dragons frontman, 38, made their first red-carpet appearance together at the 2026 Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 30.

Kelly wore a bright orange Roland Mouret midi dress, paired with light brown stiletto heels and matching jewelry, including multiple rings and small dangling earrings.

The television star's wavy locks were parted to one side, drawing attention to her face, which featured soft glam.

Reynolds contrasted her dress in a beige suit accentuated with black buttons and a black tee underneath. He accessorized with a small chain.

Kelly shared red-carpet photos from the event on Instagram, writing, "Date night honoring the greats. Thank you for having us, @moca #mocagala2026."

The couple was first spotted together in November 2022 while out for dinner in Los Angeles.

They initially talked over the phone for a month before ever meeting in person, as Kelly was working in the U.K. at the time, Reynolds revealed to PEOPLE in November 2024.

While Kelly was hard at work on her 2023 memoir, Tell Me Everything, and Reynolds was busy working on new music, their individual projects only made them grow closer.

“It was a really strange and awesome way to meet someone because I was hearing all her life stories from youth to now, and she had a really hard, colorful, beautiful life,” Reynolds told PEOPLE at the time. “Getting to read it all before you even meet somebody… I've never had that kind of introduction to someone.”

Reynolds said that since their first in-person meeting, they have been "attached at the hip" and "in a really happy, healthy relationship," crediting their success as a couple to “really great therapists.”

When the singer celebrated his 38th birthday in July 2025, Kelly gave rare insight into their relationship on Instagram.

“This beautiful man has healed wounds in me he did not inflict - simply by being himself. By embodying true masculinity. The kind that is vulnerable, honest and loving,” she said in her sweet tribute. “I thought I knew kindness. Love. Patience. Generosity. Care. I thought I knew how to be gentle. And then I met him.”

Kelly also praised his ability to parent the four kids he shares with ex-wife Aja Volkman.
