Fans ofReal Housewives of Beverly Hillsstar Kathy Hilton are well aware that she knows how to host a holiday party. In an exclusive email interview with Parade magazine, Hilton shared her best hosting tips and her favorite RHOBH season 15 moments. She also opened up about her partnership with Lovesac for the brand's new holiday campaign "Here For It All," wherein she stars in a fun four-episode series, depicting her day prepping for a holiday party that ends up being full of surprises.

Why did you decide to team up with Lovesac?

I love hosting during the holiday season, but it’s so easy to get caught up in all the hosting duties that I sometimes forget to actually enjoy the party. My Lovesac furniture truly alleviates a lot of that hosting stress; growing guest lists, party spills, ensuring everyone has a cozy spot to sit – these are things I don’t ever have to stress about. I like to call Lovesac my ultimate holiday “co-host” – whatever challenges come my way, I always feel like I can tackle them!

What are your absolute must-have hosting essentials, specifically for holiday parties?

One of my absolute must-have holiday hosting essentials is my Lovesac Sactionals. It’s endlessly adaptable, so when more people show up than I’d anticipated, I can simply rearrange it to accommodate all my guests. The machine-washable covers are also a game changer for hosting. A red-wine spill used to send me into a panic, but now I can just unzip the covers, toss them in the wash, and they come out just like new. Along with my LoveSac Sactional, I always like to have festive tablecloths, flowers, votive candles, and a warm, cozy inviting vibe. It’s all about ambience!

What are the best ways to elevate any holiday gathering?

The best way to elevate any holiday gathering is to engage the senses from the moment guests arrive. I always light a holiday-scented candle as they walk in; the fragrance instantly sets the mood and makes the house feel warm and welcoming. A statement candle does double duty as décor and ambiance. And of course, I keep the cocktails flowing. Having something unexpected, like the Moët & Chandon vending machine, is always a showstopper and instantly gets my guests excited.

I also just like to focus on keeping my guests comfortable. I often have cozy blankets scattered around the house. Lovesac Footsacs are my go-to – they are the softest blankets, and everyone is always happy when curled up with one.

How do you ensure your guests are having a memorable experience at your parties?

I always make a point to introduce my guests to each other, because you never know who has already met. [My husband] Rick [Hilton] and I love bringing guests together, introducing different groups, and sparking conversations. So many long-lasting friendships have begun at our holiday parties, which makes them feel even more special. I also love to sprinkle some little conversation-starting surprises around my house, things that get people talking.

My Lovesac Sactionals is actually a great example of this, thanks to the StealthTech speakers that are built right into the couch. Whether I’m playing holiday music to welcome guests, setting the vibe for a cozy movie night, or turning up the energy for a big game, it always makes for a really memorable moment when my guests realize the sound is coming from the couch!

What are you looking forward to most this holiday season with your children and grandchildren?

I am looking forward to spending as much time as possible together, attending their holiday concerts, taking them to the Nutcracker, making our holiday favorite cookies and meals, and opening giftson Christmas Day.

What has been your favorite moment from filming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

My favorite moment of this season is our wonderful trip to Florence and Tuscany. It was really special!

How do you feel about your three new RHOBH castmates?

You’ll have to watch...just kidding! I adore them. I love Rachel [Zoe], who is a dear longtime family friend, and I really enjoyed getting to know Amanda [Frances] and Natalie [Swanston Fuller].

Who are you currently closest to on the cast?

Obviously, my sisterKyle [Richards] and I were thrilled to film with my dear long time Rachel Zoe.

Can you tease anything about RHOBH Season 15?

No, I absolutely cannot—you’ll have to tune in. It’s a wild season!

Do you think your daughters, Paris and Nicky, will ever join the RHOBH cast?

No, but Nicky and her new accessory brand, Theo & Grace, make an appearance this year. I am so proud of her.

What is something about yourself that might surprise fans?

I have a shy side and can be kind of an introvert, but once I warm up and you have me, you have me!
