Blake Lively is trying not to think about her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni during the holiday season, an insider tells PEOPLE.
The actress, 38, who shares four kids with husband Ryan Reynolds, 49, is "staying focused on the present as she heads into the holiday, prioritizing time with her family above all else," says the source.
"While she continues to balance work, including promoting her hair line, her mindset right now is about being a mom and creating a special Christmas for her kids," the source adds. "Anything beyond this is something she plans to take on when the time comes."
"Her mentality is very much ‘next year is next year.' Right now, it's all about the kids and family time," the source says.

Lively's legal battle with her It Ends With Us costar Baldoni, 41, has officially hit its one-year mark. In December 2024, she sued him and others for sexual harassment and retaliation, which he denies. She's seeking over $160 million in damages, and the trial is now set to be held in May 2026 in New York City.
Lawyers for Lively, Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb said in a statement reflecting on the past year of the legal battle that the actress "has persevered against a billionaire-financed effort to try to 'bury' her, her family and businesses through retaliatory lawsuits and a relentless media and digital campaign."

They added that Lively "is more determined than ever to shine a light on the forces that work behind the scenes to silence and discredit women who dare speak up.“
Baldoni's attorney Bryan Freedman spoke out in his own statement about the one-year anniversary of the bombshell lawsuit.
"My clients are deeply grateful for the support and kind words they’ve received over the past year," he said. "We trust that the truth will ultimately prevail, and the care that so many have shown has been a meaningful source of strength during an incredibly challenging time."
"At the same time, we recognize that there are many other issues affecting the world that deserve even greater attention and compassion, particularly at this time of year," continued Freedman. "We hope the focus remains on supporting those who need it most and that we continue to look out for one another this holiday season."
